Cette approche, certes puissante, requiert cependant des intervenants bien form\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>Dans ce billet, nous allons donc aborder le th\u00e8me de la formation en entretien motivationnel<\/p>\n<h6><strong>Formation classique<\/strong><\/h6>\n<p>Le point de d\u00e9part dans l\u2019apprentissage est sans doute la lecture du livre de Miller et Rollnick, les deux fondateurs de la m\u00e9thode (\u201cL\u2019entretien motivationnel\u201d 3<sup>\u00e8me<\/sup> \u00e9dition). Cet ouvrage, tr\u00e8s riche, explore toutes les facettes de l\u2019approche motivationnelle.<\/p>\n<p>Ensuite, il est utile de compl\u00e9ter cette lecture par une formation de base avec des formateurs aguerris. Celle de l\u2019<a href=\"https:\/\/afdem.org\/formation-de-base\/\">AFDEM<\/a> (Association Fran\u00e7aise de D\u00e9veloppement de l\u2019Entretien Motivationnel) dure 3 jours et permet de pratiquer en groupe des exercices d&rsquo;apprentissage comme par exemple des simulations d&rsquo;entretien.<\/p>\n<p>N\u00e9anmoins, m\u00eame apr\u00e8s une formation de qualit\u00e9, le chemin est encore long pour acqu\u00e9rir les 12 comp\u00e9tences de l&rsquo;EM recommand\u00e9es par Miller\u00a0:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Comprendre dans quel esprit l\u2019EM est pratiqu\u00e9 : partenariat, non jugement, altruisme et \u00e9vocation<\/li>\n<li>D\u00e9velopper le savoir-faire et l\u2019aisance dans l\u2019\u00e9coute r\u00e9flective et dans l\u2019ensemble des savoir-faire OuVER centr\u00e9s sur le client<\/li>\n<li>Identifier les objectifs de changement<\/li>\n<li>\u00c9changer de l\u2019information et fournir des conseils dans un style EM<\/li>\n<li>\u00catre capable de reconna\u00eetre le discours-changement et le discours-maintien<\/li>\n<li>Faire \u00e9merger le discours-changement<\/li>\n<li>R\u00e9agir au discours-changement afin de le renforcer<\/li>\n<li>R\u00e9pondre au discours-maintien et \u00e0 la dissonance<\/li>\n<li>D\u00e9velopper l\u2019espoir et la confiance<\/li>\n<li>Savoir d\u00e9cider de fa\u00e7on collaborative du moment et du contenu du plan d\u2019action<\/li>\n<li>Renforcer l\u2019engagement<\/li>\n<li>Int\u00e9grer l\u2019EM dans d\u2019autres savoir-faire et pratiques cliniques<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Pour se perfectionner, Miller et Rollnick pr\u00e9conisent le tutorat.<\/p>\n<h6><strong>LE Tutorat en entretien motivationnel<\/strong><\/h6>\n<p>Il consiste \u00e0 faire observer ses \u00e9changes comme intervenant motivationnel par d&rsquo;autres personnes form\u00e9es \u00e0 la m\u00e9thode.<\/p>\n<p>Une de ces formules est l&rsquo;intervision. Un groupe d&rsquo;intervision se compose de 3 personnes. L&rsquo;une d&rsquo;elle joue le r\u00f4le du client en pr\u00e9sentant une situation d&rsquo;ambivalence comme par exemple \u201cj\u2019ai du mal \u00e0 faire de l&rsquo;exercice\u201d. Un autre membre du trio joue le r\u00f4le de l&rsquo;intervenant, celui qui m\u00e8ne l\u2019entretien motivationnel pendant une dizaine de minutes. La troisi\u00e8me personne observe l&rsquo;\u00e9change qu&rsquo;on a enregistr\u00e9. Ensuite, le trio r\u00e9\u00e9coute l&rsquo;enregistrement en notant ce qui para\u00eet significatif. La derni\u00e8re partie consiste \u00e0 d\u00e9briefer l&rsquo;entretien sous la houlette de l\u2019observateur : qu&rsquo;est ce qui a bien march\u00e9 ? Qu&rsquo;est-ce qui aurait pu \u00eatre fait diff\u00e9remment ? Quels enseignements en retirer ? Le billet <a href=\"https:\/\/www.elecyt.org\/blog\/2022\/10\/13\/lintervision-un-moyen-simple-de-sameliorer-en-entretien-motivationnel\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ici<\/a> d\u00e9taille l\u2019intervision.<\/p>\n<p>Ce qui est important dans ces s\u00e9ances d\u2019intervision, c&rsquo;est ce qu&rsquo;on n&rsquo;a pas entendu dans la s\u00e9ance, car cela donne des pistes d\u2019am\u00e9lioration \u00e0 tester dans le futur.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019autre forme d\u2019observation des \u00e9changes est la supervision o\u00f9 un expert de l\u2019EM \u00e9coute les enregistrements d\u2019un entretien r\u00e9el pour donner son retour sur la qualit\u00e9 de l\u2019intervention.<\/p>\n<p>Une autre forme de tutorat est constitu\u00e9e par les forums d\u2019\u00e9change o\u00f9 l\u2019on discute sur des sujets tels que \u201ccomment puis-je me servir de l\u2019EM dans telle situation\u00a0?\u201d<\/p>\n<h6><strong>L\u2019AUTO-EVALUATION<\/strong><\/h6>\n<p>En pratiquant le tutorat, l\u2019apprenti en EM prend du recul par rapport \u00e0 sa propre pratique. Il devient peu \u00e0 peu comp\u00e9tent dans sa propre \u00e9valuation. Pour cela, il r\u00e9\u00e9coute ses enregistrements et utilise les grilles de codage qui permettent d\u2019objectiver la qualit\u00e9 de ces derniers. Tout d\u2019abord, en comptant les reflets (R) simples ou complexes, par exemple ceux contenant une hypoth\u00e8se. Puis en d\u00e9nombrant les questions (Q), ouvertes ou ferm\u00e9es, et en calculant le ratio R\/Q. Miller et Rollnick pr\u00e9conisent un ratio sup\u00e9rieur \u00e0 2 pour \u00e9viter de transformer l\u2019entretien en interrogatoire.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019intervenant peut \u00e9galement compter les occurrences de discours-changement (DC) et de discours-maintien (DM) et calculer le ratio DC\/DM et son \u00e9volution dans le temps de l\u2019entretien. Il se pose des questions comme \u201cquand le discours-changement est-il apparu\u00a0?\u201d, \u201cquelle a \u00e9t\u00e9 la r\u00e9action de l\u2019intervenant apr\u00e8s son apparition\u00a0?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Enfin, il d\u00e9compte les occurrences de langage non conformes \u00e0 l\u2019esprit de l\u2019EM, comme donner son avis sans permission, se confronter ou bien argumenter. Il peut \u00e9galement noter les r\u00e9actions du client \u00e0 ce langage.<\/p>\n<h6><strong>POUR CONCLURE<\/strong><\/h6>\n<p>L\u2019apprentissage de l\u2019EM est un chemin sans fin tant on d\u00e9couvre de subtilit\u00e9 dans l\u2019art de conduire un entretien. D\u2019ailleurs, la recherche sur les m\u00e9canismes \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u0153uvre dans l\u2019EM progresse \u00e9galement, donnant de nouvelles perspectives d\u2019\u00e9volution.<\/p>\n<p>Finalement, l\u2019intervenant en EM est comme un pianiste.
