Mais, pour \u00eatre efficace, elle doit apporter une critique constructive \u00e0 l\u2019orateur. Sans toutefois le blesser car il pourrait alors perdre sa motivation. Ainsi, un des moyens d\u2019y arriver est le message-Je.<\/p>\n<h6><strong>Qu\u2019est-ce que le message-Je ?<\/strong><\/h6>\n<p>\u201cTu as toujours le d\u00e9faut de te dandiner quand tu prononces un discours\u201d. M\u00eame si ce jugement part d\u2019une bonne intention, celle de faire progresser l\u2019orateur, ce dernier pourrait le ressentir comme une mise en accusation. Car c\u2019est un message Tu, sous la forme \u201ctu devrais\u201d ou \u201ctu ne devrais pas\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Au contraire, le message Je exprime comment l\u2019\u00e9metteur du message (ici l\u2019\u00e9valuateur) voit les choses personnellement. Par exemple : \u201cj\u2019ai \u00e9t\u00e9 perturb\u00e9 par ton dandinement. Car cela a distrait mon attention et m\u2019a emp\u00each\u00e9 de me concentrer sur le contenu de ce que tu disais. Aussi, \u00e0 la place, tu pourrais essayer de rester stable sur tes deux pieds\u201d. De ce fait, l\u2019\u00e9valuateur d\u00e9crit comment il ressent le discours, et l\u2019effet qu\u2019il a sur lui, sans porter de jugement sur ce que l\u2019orateur a fait ou n\u2019a pas fait.<\/p>\n<p>Selon le psychologue am\u00e9ricain Thomas Gordon, le message-Je am\u00e9liore les relations interpersonnelles. D&rsquo;apr\u00e8s lui, le message-Je sert par exemple \u00e0 d\u00e9crire le comportement inappropri\u00e9 d\u2019un enfant sans lui faire de reproche. De ce fait, le message-Je est bien plus efficace pour motiver le changement de comportement que le message-Tu.<\/p>\n<h6><strong>EST-CE que \u00e7a marche\u00a0?<\/strong><\/h6>\n<p>Afin d&rsquo;\u00e9tudier les effets du message-Je, les chercheurs en psychologie sociale ont trouv\u00e9 qu\u2019il suscitait chez le r\u00e9cepteur du message moins d\u2019\u00e9motions n\u00e9gatives et davantage de compassion et de coop\u00e9ration que le message-Tu. De m\u00eame, dans les conflits inter-personnels, le message-Je signale que l&rsquo;\u00e9metteur est pr\u00eat \u00e0 communiquer son propre point de vue et qu\u2019il est ouvert \u00e0 la n\u00e9gociation.<\/p>\n<p>D&rsquo;autre part, les messages-Je sont mieux m\u00e9moris\u00e9s et d\u00e9clenchent une plus grande r\u00e9activit\u00e9 \u00e9motionnelle. \u00c9galement, dans les relations de couple, le message-Je est associ\u00e9 \u00e0 une meilleure capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 r\u00e9soudre les probl\u00e8mes et \u00e0 une plus grande satisfaction des partenaires. En voici des exemples :<\/p>\n<p>Pour une \u00e9valuation Toastmasters, le message-Je peut prendre la forme suivante : ce que l\u2019orateur a dit\/fait, l\u2019effet que j\u2019ai ressenti, le pourquoi de cet effet et, enfin, une piste d\u2019am\u00e9lioration.<\/p>\n<p>Au cours d&rsquo;un \u00e9change commercial, par exemple avec le service client d\u2019un fournisseur: \u201cJe commence \u00e0 perdre patience &lt;ressenti du client&gt;, Je n\u2019aime pas les promesses non tenues &lt;la raison du ressenti&gt;, j\u2019ai besoin de cet appareil en bon \u00e9tat de fonctionnement &lt;cons\u00e9quence\/expression du besoin&gt;\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Dans le cadre d\u2019un accompagnement d\u2019insertion professionnelle, \u201cQuand nous nous mettons d&rsquo;accord \u00e0 la fin d&rsquo;une s\u00e9ance sur des actions et que, la s\u00e9ance suivante, je constate que ces actions n&rsquo;ont pas \u00e9t\u00e9 entreprises &lt; comportement probl\u00e9matique&gt;, je suis triste &lt;le ressenti&gt; parce que je me sens inutile &lt;la cons\u00e9quence du comportement&gt;.<\/p>\n<p>Le message-Je joue \u00e9galement un r\u00f4le dans la r\u00e9solution de conflit afin d\u2019exprimer ses propres int\u00e9r\u00eats.<\/p>\n<h6><strong>Pour aller plus loin<\/strong><\/h6>\n<p>Le message-Je permet d\u2019exprimer son point de vue sans blesser. En cela, il est tr\u00e8s utile dans les \u00e9valuations de discours.
